Abstract
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is an emerging technology that shows great promise for various futuristic applications. As wireless sensor networks continue to grow, for the needs of effective security mechanisms. A wireless sensor network may comprise thousands of sensor nodes. Each sensor node has a sensing capability as well as limited energy supply, compute power, memory and communication ability. Sensor nodes can be used for continuous sensing, event detection, event ID, location sensing and local control of actuators. However, realizing the full potential of wireless sensor networks poses myriad research challenges ranging from hardware and architectural issues. In this paper we analyze the security attacks in wireless sensor networks.
