Abstract
Tuberculosis of the appendix remains a rarity despite the frequency of intestinal tuberculosis. Tuberculosis of appendix is very rare diagnosed only on histopathological examination.We report a case of acute appendicitis who underwent appendicectomy at our hospital, and thehistopathology of the specimen revealed appendicular tuberculosis. Patient was put on anti tuberculous treatment and well on follow up.
