THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL BASES OF MEDIATION AS SOCIAL-PEDAGOGICAL TECHNOLOGY OF SOLVING THE SCHOOL CONFLICTS

Abstract
In the article the author has summarized and analyzed the social-pedagogical technology in activity of social pedagogue of school. The emphasis has been made on on the participation of social pedagogue in resolving of school conflicts, offered technology of mediation as conflict resolution among pupils. The attempt for the structuring of technology to resolve conflicts at school by means of mediation has been demonstrated. Professional domain of social pedagogue of school is characterized by richness of features which purpose is to help in solving social problems, successful socialization of participants of the educational process. Help in solving various conflicts is one of the directions of activity of social pedagogue at school and involves the use of certain methods and technologies. Social-pedagogical technology involves the creation of an algorithm of activity specialist and a client by using certain methods and tools of influence. The purpose of this work should be a person with certain new qualities that can help her solve a specific problem situation. With such considerations we have attempted to structure social-pedagogical technologies of conflict resolution in the school environment with the use of mediation. In the author`s view, technology of mediation the best meets the requirements of modern education paradigm: humanity, personality-oriented approach, the focus - pupil with its own characteristics and needs. The use of technology of peace negotiations involving a neutral mediator (which reflects the essence of mediation) is based on the principles of voluntariness, fairness, self-reliance, the desire of the parties to resolve the conflict. Social-pedagogical technologies for resolving conflicts by means of mediation can be defined as the creation by social pedagogue of algorithm of interaction teenagers in resolving conflicts by the principle of peace talks with the participation of a mediator. This technology can be structured as: the primary aim; search for sources of information or the collection, analysis and processing of data, specification of purpose, design, choice of options, and choice of instruments, organizational and procedural work, and expected result.
