Abstract

Devvânî grows old and undertake important tasks in the times of Karakoyunlu and Akkoyunlu states and also he is one of the prominent theologians who influents the Ottoman theological thought. Devvâni believes that there is not any conflicts between religion and philosophy. His most important goal was to make the philosophy respectable and acceptable and now we can see that he was successful in his goal. Devvani benefits particularly from Suhrawardi's Israir, Ibn alArabi's unity-Existence and Tûsî's moral philosophy but he was more interested in Ibn al-Arabi's thoughts. Of the particular benefit of those who have had the Ibn al-Arabi has Devvânî'n more interested. Devvânî usedboth of the İşrâkî terminology and the Meşai and he constructed an attitude that combines both approaches in his direction. Devvânî finds complete harmony between mysticism and philosophy. In this respect, on the one hand a well-known theologian and philosopher, on the other hand eclectic should be. But we can't reveal the presence of such an attitude from Devvânî'n works, unlike many thoughts were replaced by without associating with each other. İn Devvani's Works about intercession, Grave Torment, Sirat, balance, Kabir query, İvaz, Rü'yetullah, and miracles, etc. on all of the basic theological issues hevwa based on Ash'ari 's discourses.
