Abstract

The paper holds a comparative analysis of the systems for managing the integrity of industrial enterprises in planned and market economies. It clarifies the concept “industrial enterprise”, and specifies the role and motivation of an owner in terms of forming its configuration. The authors elaborate on the concept of industrial enterprise integrity as a necessary condition for its success in a market. The paper presents the model of industrial enterprise integrity formation, systematizes main factors in subject-toobject relations, as well as suggests conceptual models for deciding on priorities by an owner of an industrial enterprise. The authors identify two groups of economic subjects, whose motivation and interests determine strategic focus of enterprises: the state as an owner and private owners. For all types of owners, the paper provides the priorities that serve the basis for decision-making concerning adaptation and transformation of enterprises' integrity in highly dynamic market environment.
