Abstract
Background. Surgical treatment of a combination of genital prolapse (GP) and stress urinary incontinence (SUI) may be graded or simultaneous. Objective. To evaluate the results of surgical correction of simultaneous GP and SUI. Material and method. 49 patients with GP and SUI underwent simultaneous operation. Results. The results were evaluated according to the anatomical position of the pelvic organs, restoration of urinary continence mechanism and state of urination after surgery. Conclusion. With the increase in the period of observation the frequency of urination disorders increases.
