Abstract
The paper researches industrial markets structure. The authors integrate two methodological approaches to the analysis of industrial markets (structural and microeconomic) and enhance structural analysis by adding dynamic indicators of industrial market development. The paper presents a dynamic approach to the analysis of industrial markets, elaborates on the process of obtaining and selecting statistical data taking into account the specifics of industrial enterprises and sectors. The suggested approach allows identifying behavioural specifics in the development of industries, making conclusions both about the structure and the nature of competition, and outlining prospects of their strategic development. Using the proposed approach and the SPARK database the authors perform a dynamic analysis of the markets of five industries. The findings point to stagnant development of oligopolies in the markets under consideration.
