CONTENTS OF "RESEARCH COMPETENCE" CONCEPT IN DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN LITERATURE

Abstract

Analyzing psychological and pedagogical literature, we have found the interest of domestic researchers to the problem. The concept of competence, which is interpreted as giving the key to solving a wide range of educational and life problems, is considered.The agreed category has become the basis for the provisions of the State Standard of Education, in which competence is formulated as acquired in the learning process, an integrated ability of the individual, consisting of knowledge, experience, values and attitudes that can be holistic in practice.The interpretation of the concept of research competence in the national and foreign literature is analyzed.Research competence involves the ability to collaborate, make contacts, easy interoperability, readiness for change, self-determination.Is an integral quality of the personality, expressed in readiness and ability to independently search for a solution to new problems and the creative transformation of reality on the basis of a set of personally-meaningful knowledge, skills and abilities, methods of activity and value orientations. Research competence is considered as an integrative characteristic of the individual, which involves possession of methodological knowledge, technology of research activity, as well as recognition of their value and readiness for their use in professional activities.Research competence is a key, basis for the development of other competences, because it helps a person to learn throughout life, become competitive, successful in future life. Research competence is considered to be a component of the competence of self-improvement of the individual.It is aimed at assimilating the methods of intellectual and spiritual development of man as a structural component of cognitive competence, which includes «lements of methodological, supramental, logical activity, methods of organization of goal-setting, planning, analysis, reflection».
