Abstract

The present is study is the analysis of citations appended on doctoral dissertations in Crop Physiology submitted to University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad. There are total 36 doctoral theses awarded in the duration 1987 to 2013 and these 36 theses yielded 7499 citations. These citations were analyzed to find the information seeking pattern of Crop Physiology researchers in UAS Dharwad. Citations are analyzed to find the bibliographic forms approached by researchers, chronological distribution of citations, geographic distribution of citations, and to prepare the ranked list of journals.
