The Effects of Humic Substance Applications in Different Doses on Yield and Quality of Italia Grape Cultivar

Abstract

This study was carried out at six years old Italia (Vitis vinifera L.) grape cultivar grafted on 1103 Paulsen rootstock in a vegetation period of 2017 in Selçuklu district in Konya province. In the research the effects of Dose 0 (Control) (0 ml TKI-Humas / 5 liter water), Dose 1 (167 ml TKI-Humas / 5 liter water), Dose 2 (333 ml TKI-Humas / 5 liter water), Dose 3 (500 ml TKI-Humas / 5 liter water), Dose 4 (667 ml TKI-Humas / 5 liter water) applications on grape yield and quality of Italia grape cultivar were investigated. According to the findings the highest grape yield obtained as 4,81 kg/vine with Dose 2 and 4,57 kg/vine with Dose 4 applications; the highest cluster weight was 380,13 g with Dose 2 application; the highest 100 berry weight was 518,85 g with Dose 2, 498,50 g with Dose 4 and 497,03 g with Dose 3 applications; the highest maturity index was 30,44 with Dose 0 application; the highest grape juice yield was 706,67 ml/kg with Dose 4 application were determined. To increase the fresh grape yield, cluster weight and 100 berry weight, it can be recommended on Dose 2 (333 ml TKI-Humas / 5 liter water) application in Italia grape cultivar.
