LIFE CONTEXTS OF PERSONALITY GROWTH: ANALYSIS OF EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL FACTORS

The conditions and circumstances of the life of individual, which may cause personal growth and contribute to this process are being analysed. The semantic components of psychological mechanisms of growth of the individual as an adult were investigated. The results of online survey of adults of all ages regarding their perceptions of personal growth became the empirical basis of the investigation. There were analysed major events for the determining of personal growth, life circumstances that may contribute to personal growth indirectly and space of language practices as a framework for the emergence of the discourse of personal growth.
