PSYCHOLOGICAL CORRECTION OF THE EMOTIONAL STATES OF EMPLOYEES OF THE MINISTRY OF THE INTERIOR, WHICH ARE THE CAUSE OF PSYCHOSOMATIC DISORDERS

Abstract

The article defines the main tasks of the prevention of psychosomatic disorders of law enforcement officers: 1) identification and classification of stressors, which are typical for professional activities; 2) systematization of knowledge about psychosomatic reactions which are caused by stressors, 3) development of measures which are directed to the amendments of the consequences of the action of stressors. The author described the main structural components of psychological correction of the states of personality, which are caused the psychosomatic disorders: building skills to understand the negative and positive aspects of the traumatic situation; develop an ability to appreciate their achievement; develop an ability to neutralize the adverse aspects of the behavior, etc. The author has defined the goals and objectives of psychological support of persons who have psychosomatic disorders. It is argues that such procedure provides for the implementation of two phases: a diagnostic and a correction. The diagnostic phase involves: 1) the definition of the level of stress a worker and his capacity for action in extreme conditions; 2) the estimation of his actual psychosomatic status; 3) the definition of the vector and the prediction of the intensity of the negative conditions, which may be caused by conditions of professional activity. The essence of the correction phase is to: 1) the formation of professionally important qualities of employees, in particular their emotional-volitional sphere; 2) the formation of stress tolerance and correction of negative mental states; 3) teaching techniques and methods of self-regulation.
