THE APPLICATION OF LINGUISTICS GAMES BASED ON THE USE OF FOREIGN-LANGUAGE PROVERBS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CREATIVE THINKING OF ADOLESCENTS

Abstract
This article is consecrated on the analysis of the problem of creative thinking development of adolescents in the process of learning a foreign language. The author examines the possibilities of linguistic games as the means of development of intellect and creative thinking. Particular attention is paid to such means of thinking development as a foreign language paroimias - proverbs, parables, folklore, fables, artistic images, similes, metaphors and so on. This is an excellent tool for the development of abstract thinking of the child because for their understanding you need to disengage from the direct meaning of the word. They also help to develop a generalized view on the life and philosophical problems of human existence. Proverbs require the activation of such mental operations, as generalization and penetration into the essence of phenomena. The author investigates the methods of the development of artistic and creative intellectual abilities of a child. It was concluded that the development of artistic and intellectual creative abilities of the child is possible by training the methods of construction of new images and metaphors based on the studying paroimia phrases. An effective way to develop the creative potential of students is the spontaneous verbal imagination of pupils in the classroom, the production of unusual ideas, puns and neologisms. In order to develop original thinking in the learning process author also applies the technique of defamiliarization which was worked out by M.L. Smulson Among the methods of creative thinking development, we have also used such as a method of compiling stories, thematic drawing method, and others. Activation of thinking occurs also through the analysis of the semantic content of proverbs. All of these methods and means are used to stimulate the creativity level of educational and cognitive activities of adolescents.
