Abstract

The relevance of the study is dictated by the prevalence of anxiety in the practice of both somatic and the mental profile. The incidence of anxiety and related anxiety disorders is 10 to 40% of patients today, according to many authors, with the majority of patients do not give it significant, thus exacerbating the course of the underlying medical condition. According to the scale, epidemiological, an international study conducted by the WHO, various psychiatric disorders has arisen against a background of anxiety present in every four (24%) of patients seeking medical advice. Objective: to reveal using Integrative test of the anxiety (ITA), what level and what the structure of personal anxiety and situational anxiety as the indicators of socio-psychological stress predominate in patients with otosclerosis. Main results: the data obtained by the method of ITA suggests that the overall level of situational anxiety high, this may be due to the reaction of patients to their illness, a diagnosis of "otosclerosis". Based on the results of ITA techniques can detect the influence of anxiety on the attitude to the disease. It was revealed that the psychopathological status in patients with otosclerosis, which is clinically expressed in the form of personal and situational anxiety, in patients with otosclerosis experimental and control group significantly different. On admission to treatment significant differences between the experimental and control groups in these patients was found. As a result of re-examination it was obtained significant differences (p <0,05) between the group of patients with otosclerosis who had taken a course of psychological correction in addition to the basic conservative and surgical treatment in the department (experimental group), and a group having only the main course of conservative and surgical treatment (control band) for all types of psychopathology. When comparing these two examinations in the experimental group severity situational anxiety and personality is reduced to normal level, while the control group is expressed at a level reduction tendencies. Conclusions: The patients with otosclerosis level of situational anxiety high, and there is a significant change in the symptomatic status both in experimental and in the control groups of patients with otosclerosis, but in the group of patients attending psycho activities (experimental group), aimed at reducing identified situational and personal anxiety, the dynamics expressed to a greater extent.
