Throughout the historical development of Turkish agricultural policies, systematic policies have been observed since the beginning of Planned Period in 1963. Since then, agricultural support programs have been implemented as five–year plans and annual programs. The agricultural policies, long been implemented as price, input and credit support, have reshaped within the perspective of agricultural reform pursuits since the years 2000s. Agricultural Reform Implementation Project (ARIP) was initiated in the year 2000 and since then Direct Income Support (DIS) and Rural development Supports have come into prominence. Today, agricultural and livestock supports provided by the Ministry of Food Agriculture and Livestock diversified as livestock supports, organic agriculture and good agricultural practices supports, diesel fuel support, fertilizer support, soil analysis support, certified seed and sapling support, agricultural consultancy support and basin–based supports. In this study, current implementations of such support programs in Çanakkale Province were analyzed and evaluated. Results revealed that support programs have been implemented efficiently in Çanakkale Province and complied with the national implementations.
