Effects of Cluster Tip Cutting and Leaf Fertilizer Applications on Grape Yield and Quality of Red Globe Table Grape Variety

This study was conducted Red Globe (Vitis vinifera L.) grape cultivar and its vine which was grown on 140 Ruggeri rootstocks in a vegetation period of 2012 in Muğla province. In this research, , it was examined the effects on Control (C), 1/3 Cluster Tip Reduction (1/3 CTR), TARIS–ZF foliar fertilizer (3 times), 1/3 CTR+TARIS–ZF foliar fertilizer (3 times), TARIS–ZF foliar fertilizer (5 times) and 1/3 CTR+TARIS–ZF foliar fertilizer (5 times) on grape yield and quality of Red Globe grape variety. The results were obtained as the longest cluster (21.02 cm) with C; the highest 100 berry weight (800.18 g) with 1/3 CTR+TARIS–ZF foliar fertilizer (3 times); the highest pH (4.27) with TARIS–ZF foliar fertilizer (3 times) and (4.26) with 1/3 CTR+TARIS–ZF foliar fertilizer (3 times); the highest oBrix (17.00) with 1/3 CTR and (16.62) with C; the highest TA (0.68 g TAE/100 ml) with 1/3 CTR+TARIS–ZF foliar fertilizer (5 times) and (0.63 g TAE/100 ml) with TARIS–ZF foliar fertilizer (5 times); the highest maturity index (32.97) with 1/3 CTR and (28.79) with C; the highest intensity of L* color (39.46) with TARIS–ZF foliar fertilizer (5 times). No significant effects were found on grape yield, cluster weight, cluster width, berry length, berry width, berry length/berry width, must yield, a* and b* color intensity values.
