Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between human capital, absorptive capacity and innovation performance. The research data were collected from the enterprises operating in the technology development zone of Istanbul and Ankara. According to the results of the research, human capital and absorptive capacity significantly and positively affect product and process innovation statistically. In addition, human capital significantly affects the absorptive capacity. Analysis of the mediating effect of absorptive capacity on human capital and innovation performance indicates that absorptive capacity is a partial mediator between human capital and product and process innovation.
