Basic Principles for Preparation of Scientific Publication

Common rules and principles used in scientific papers were presented in this study. Paper writing rules were demonstrated with clear examples as to be used by every researcher with a certain knowledge. Initially, brief explanations were provided about title, authors and abstract. Then, the section about IMRAD format, a guide for editor and readers to follow the flow of paper, was broadly explained. After that, referencing and reference list creation were considered with different examples. Possible plagiarisms were presented with actual cases to prevent such plagiarisms from the referred papers. Through the next section, proper uses of numbers, units, symbols and % indicators were mentioned and examples were provided from SCI-Indexed Journals. Erronious uses were presented about the use of such characters especially in tables.
