THE BASIS OF PUBLIC POLICY FORMATION FOR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC SUPPORT OF INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS

The nature and characteristics of public policy support for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Ukraine have been discovered in this article. "Public policy support for IDPs" definition has been formulated. It is proved that governmental policies support IDPs as an activity can be carried out on four levels. Principles on which the formulation and implementation of public policy for IDPs ought to be based have been concretized. Both formulation and implementation of the fundamental principles of state policy on IDPs are the factor that will develop efficient and effective comprehensive national policy on IDPs, their adaptation and integration into the host society.
