The article discussed the formation of the purpose of the introduction of organic farming on the territory of Ukraine and the Kirovograd region. Tightness of farms as one of the most common forms of management in agrosphere. Provides a brief description of the development of farming in the Kirovograd region. Investigated aspects of economic efficiency of agricultural producers in the practical application of the principles and methods of organic farming.
