Abstract
The article discusses the efficiency of a lecture in general and the passive and active lecture in particular. A questionnaire survey studied teacher and student views on the issue. 80 lecturers and 36 students participated electronically. A conclusion is made that, although teachers' and students' views differ significantly, all agree that lectures should be / become more interactive.
