Abstract

The education system has undergone tremendous changes to assure that the students and their potential for developing their societies' areable to attain a sustainable growth curve. The renovation of education system that armors the education providers –teachers and the knights of the new age competitive wars – students with the knowledge, rational decision making capacities to achieve economic valor and conscientious responsibility to enhance sustainable growth for both individual and nation. As the educational system across the globe demands advancement in information technology, it becomes an unquestionable responsibility of the various universities towards enhancing their teaching pedagogy which becomes of paramount significance. Universities withstanding this need of change in teaching pedagogy are implementing various software's for making learning process e-friendly. In the modern times the way education is getting changed is a point to ponder on. The teaching pedagogy has changed drastically from chalk & board to power point presentation and power point presentations to e- learning. For any educational institution to be successful, they have to absorb the technological educational up gradations. Information Technology is the backbone in this change process. To make the education system straightforward and handy D Y Patil University Navi Mumbai introduced Learning Management System (LMS). This system is a password guarded online learning system that allows the student to trace learning materials and activities related to studies from any situate with internet access. This research paper speaks about the acceptance rate of this changed sustainable system of education i.e., “LMS” with special reference to D Y Patil University (employees and students).
