Abstract
The article analyzes the national economic structure by type of economic activity. The trend of deterioration of the structural dynamics is revealed, which are manifested in the reduction in the volumes of gross value added the share of industry, construction, services and the increase the share of the agricultural sector. In the structure of Ukraine's economy, the share of high-technology activities is declining, which are at variance with contemporary trends of structural transformations and poses a threat to sustainable development. To overcome negative tendencies, priority areas of structural policy are identified, as well as institutional conditions for successful structural reforms.
