Abstract
The actual problem of modern Russian society ? modernization through a prism of the state and confessional rela-tions is considered in the article. The questions of formation of a new nanotechnological type of society, taking into account social and humanitarian measurements are brought up, and also the role of confessions in formation of civil society is traced in the article.
