Abstract
This study aimed to investigate behavior problems of students in the basic education stage schools in Jordan from their teachers' perspectives and to find out the impact of some variables on the seriousness of these problems. The survey questionnaire consisted of (20) items. The study sample consisted of (1624) male and female teachers. The analytical descriptive statistics was used to compute the respondents' answers. Results showed that classroom behavior problems listed in the survey questionnaire were serious. The study also showed that there were statistically significant differences in the seriousness of behavioral problems that can be attributed to the gender variable in favor of the males. Male teachers face more classroom behavioral problems than female teachers. Moreover, results revealed that there were statistically significant differences that can be attributed to the education authority in favor of schools run by UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency in the Near East).
