Atherosclerosis is pluricausal disease, in emergence and advance of which many external and internal factors so-called risk factors (RF) have values. Now more than 30 factors which action increases risk of emergence and development of atherosclerosis and its complications are known. Now it is proved that arterial hypertension, lipotrophy, smoking and diabetes belong to the number of the most significant RF of atherosclerosis.
