Abstract
The present manuscript describes the synthesis of sporadic co-polyesters and its characterization. A co-polyester is synthesized using 3-chloro-1, 2-propanediol with adipoylchloride as dicacid chloride. 2, 5-hexane diol is used as another diols for the synthesis of sporadic co-polyester. The synthesized polyester is characterized using 1HNMR, FTIR and UV–visible spectroscopy techniques. Morphology of the co-polyester has been characterized using SEM and XRD techniques. From this study, we have confirmed the newly added copolymer in the group of liquid crystalline copolymers.
