Abstract
The scientific community has repeatedly raised the issue of conditional early release of convicts. Within the framework of this article, the question of the grounds and conditions for its provision is being considered. The issue of the term of actual serving of the punishment necessary to grant parole for persons deprived of their liberty for life is considered in more detail.
