Abstract
The shell & tube heat exchanger encloses tubes carry either hot or cold fluid inside it depending upon specific conditions. This paper presents the computational investigation of pressure drift intimation in a pipe. In this paper, a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) prototype of pressure drift in a pipe is employed with the help of ANSYS FLUENT 13.0. Pressure along the length of the tube is also analysed. The liquid consumed by this drive is water. The comparative studies is based on varying the velocity of flow and the impact of pressure drift on walls of pipes of shell and tube heat exchanger is determined.
