Abstract
Community Medicine, a spe-cialty of medicine concerned with disease prevention and health promotion among individuals, families, & communities is a young and dynamic discipline still finding its roots in the broad spectrum of Modern medicine. The confusion on role and scope of the discipline in the broad scientific horizon continues. This is reflected by the lack of appropriate forums on national and International levels for dissemination of information relevant for the practice of Community Health. In this context, a new peer re-viewed indexed medical journal focusing on dissemination of up-dates in the diverse field of com-munity health was conceptual-ised. We aim to provide a plat-form for publishing your research work, sharing your experiences and disseminating recent advanc-es along with providing a forum for expressing your viewpoints on various aspects of Community Health Annals of Community Health (AoCH) aims to publish papers that advance the under-standing of Community Medicine and its allied topics, to dissemi-nate recent updates, stimulate debate, educate and entertain. AoCH is not a general medical journal; articles published are comprehensible, interesting and relevant to the experts in Community Medicine and Pub-lic Health.
