Abstract
Increasing use of computer results in an exposition of information, making data mining an important research topic. Data mining in medical has a great potential for exploring the hidden patterns in the data set of medical domain. Thus there is a way to automatically discover knowledge of the data if the data is uncovered. Data mining is referred to as knowledge discovery in databases (KDD) can be defined as non trivial process of identifying valid, novel potential, useful and ultimately understandable patterns in data. These patterns can be effectively utilized for medical diagnosis. By collecting the raw data widely distributed, heterogeneous in nature and voluminous organize them and integrate to form a hospital management system. Finally by using the technique of data mining here we identify few areas of Medicare where data mining technique can be applied to Medicare database for Knowledge discovery.
