Abstract
The present study emotion regulation and cognitive beliefs. The research method in terms of purpose and the method of implementation of the cross β comparison. The study population consisted of all adolescent girls and boys city of Sanandaj in the second half of the 94 normal adolescents and 100 cigarettes ( each n = 50) were selected through purposive sampling method. Standard data collection tools in emotion regulation questionnaire Gross and John ( 2003) and metacognitive beliefs Wells ( 1997).
