The impact of automobile transport on the environment

Ecology connects many spheres of human activity: science, education, industry. Therefore, the younger generation should have an understanding of the impact of human activities on the environment. In this article, the authors investigate the elements of formation of ecological culture as an example of the discipline «Geography of Russia». The studies have carried out by pupils, where the impact of automobile transport on the environment was considered. The collected data allowed to learn the utilization of the received knowledge and make their own decisions. It means that pupils form their identity in the practical exercises, that any activities or any profession related to the emergence and necessity of solving the environmental problems.
