THE IMAGE OF MOTHER IN PAINTINGS BY PEOPLE’S ARTIST MAIS AGABEYOV

The article deals with the specific celebration of the image of mother and analyses the forms of artistic expression and peculiarities of paintings by People's Artist, professor Mais Agabeyov. His works on the same and various subjects devoted to the motherhood, when women reach the peak of their happiness, are depicted in tender colour shades, especially in blue and indigo tones using fine artistic techniques. The studies of the painter's works give information about his delicate approach/attitude to the subject matters, which explains his inner thoughts and feelings.
