Abstract

Efficiency considered of multi-step planetary gear train, when the driving link is the carrier of the first step, and the driven – the ring gear of the last step, or vice versa, and the control links are the sun gears of individual steps connected with the closed circuit hydrosystems. The obtained results have practical application in the design of new speed control devices in the engineering and allow to estimate the performance of multi-step planetary gear train in terms of energy losses and self-immersion and provide the basis for further research.
