Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of the legal status of women in the countries of the Arab world. In particular, the identification of important problems concerning the limitation of the rights of a Muslim woman to the rights of a man, the oppression of personal and political rights, her social status, the regulation of family and hereditary relations.
