MANUFACTURЕ ABILITY OF STRUCTURES THREADED CONNECTIONS OF MACHINE PARTS

The paper considers the role ofthe threaded joints in modern engineering, thespecific gravity of which in the machinery amounts to 60 ... 70%. The widespread use of the threaded joints in mechanical engineering is stipulated by their simplicity, high load capacity, operational reliability and durability, as well as the ease of connection and disconnection of parts. The restrictions on the use of the threaded joints are associated with the presence of a significant number of stress concentrators on their surfaces, which reduces their fatigue strength at variable specific pressures. The improved design of the head for cutting internal threads of the left and right direction is suggested.
