MODERN FEATURES OF MILK PRODUCTION DEVELOPMENT IN AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES

Abstract
The article deals with the economic evaluation of modern features of milk production development in agricultural enterprises of Ukraine, in particular, the production volumes, cows livestock, productivity, marketability and quality of dairy raw milk. The main factors that influenced structural changes in dairy production and formation of new trends of industry development as increase of milk production, increase of productivity of cows, increase of the share of agricultural enterprises in the structure of milk supply to dairy processing enterprises were determined. The analysis showed increased of concentration and specialization of milk production. It has been proved that the acceleration of European integration processes, namely the introduction of new requirements for the quality of milk in accordance with the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, will be a key factor in accelerating the further transformation of dairy production in agricultural enterprises, which will allow the production of competitive products to grow in a short time. The most suitable for such purposes were farms with more than 500 cows which today produce 65% of milk from the total production in this category of farms and hold 43.5% of the cows herd. The available production potential with appropriate motivation will contribute the growth of the production of high-quality milk. The implementation of state programs regulated by the Government of Ukraine in 2018 (compensation of part of the loan body involved in the construction of barns, compensation of 25% acquisition of new agricultural machinery and equipment of Ukrainian production, etc) will allow the population of Ukraine to compete with competitive dairy products of the European standard.
