The paper presents methodology of the carried out questionnaire survey and main findings related to the data recorded at items focused on database systems and technologies. The obtained data related to the respondents` opinions and the assessments of the selected learning topics taught within their study programmes and the importance of these topics for the respondents` professional career were processed according to the factors of the country, gender and field of the study.
