Abstract
Hereditary pigmentary hepatoses or benign hyperbilirubinemia cause certain difficulties in the diagnosis and subsequent proper treatment of practical doctors. This article gives an example of a family case of Gilbert's syndrome, found in a child of 8 years old, who has been under the care of a family doctor for a long time with a diagnosis of undifferentiated jaundice.
