Abstract
The purpose of this article is to analyze the results of the conducted research indicators and factors affecting the quality of training of students in schools of the Penza region (2016). The results of surveys of stu- dents of General educational organizations of the Penza region, their parents and teachers of General educational organizations of the Penza region are analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the important directions of improving the quality of education were revealed: updating the material and technical base of schools, improving the pro- fessional level of teachers and systematically improving their skills, providing opportunities for individual choice of the educational trajectory of students, improving the quality of educational literature and the introduc- tion of new teaching methods. It is confirmed that the most important conditions affecting the quality of educa- tion of schoolchildren are the educational resources of the family and the position of parents
