Abstract
This article represents the analysis of introduction of fine fibrous cotton breeds in the Republic of Uzbekistan in the period since the beginning of the 9th century till present, including results of development of breeds by domestic selectors. Also the suggestions of fast restoration of production of abovementioned cotton breeds in Uzbekistan are given.
