Abstract
Human resource is considered to be most valuable asset in any organization. It is the sumtotal of inherent abilities, acquired knowledge and skill represented by talents and aptitude of the employed person who comprise executives, supervisors and rank file employees. It may be noted here that human resources should be utilized to maximum possible extent, in order to achieve individual and organizational goals. It is thus employee performance, which ultimately decides the attainment of goals. However, the employee performance is to large extent, influence by motivation and job satisfaction. So an attempt has been made by the researcher to study the job satisfaction level of the staffs in VEWL located at Thuvakudi-Trichy.
