Abstract

In the present work, a solar water heater is designed, fabricated and its performance is evaluated in the Allahabad climatic conditions. Production of hot water by using solar water heater is a renewable energy heating technology used to process heat generation or space heating. Iron Absorber plate of size 10cm is painted black to absorb maximum insolation. The performance of the system is evaluated for the mass flow rates of 0.0015 kg/s. Daily efficiency of 11% is obtained with the minimum mass flow rate of 0.0015 kg/s.
