Abstract
A study is conducted to understand the response of structures which are at close proximity and connected with Fluid viscous dampers, by considering the effect of soil structure interaction. Response of the structure are studied by considering height ratio of the connected buildings. Results indicate that response of the connected structure is highly sensitive to interaction of soil and structure.
