Abstract
The experimental investigation was carried out to study the development strength of Slurry Infiltrated fibrous concrete (SIFCON).Compressive test and split tensile test were conducted to check the developmental strength. The compression test results revealed that the strength of partial replacement of coarse aggregate with steel fibre was found to be 70% higher than that of conventional concrete mix Similarly ,In Split tensile test the tensile strength of partial replacement of coarse aggregate with steel fibre was found to be 75% higher than that of conventional mix. On the other hand ,it was observed that the strength behaviour of full replacement of coarse aggregate with steel fibre was similar to that of conventional mix.
