Legal regulation of the development of waste management in Ukraine

The article analyzes legal acts regulating the development of the waste management sphere. It is revealed that the legislation of Ukraine is imperfect, because it does not take into account the features of waste management, directions and mechanisms related to waste recycling. Proposals on improvement of legal regulation of development of waste management sector have been developed, the main of which are: inclusion of a set of measures for minimizing the amount of waste generated; it is advisable to resolve the problem of waste management in different ways, which fundamentally differ in technology of treatment; development and implementation of recycling as a technology waste management; supplementing the list of financial mechanisms for the implementation of public-private partnership in the field of waste management.
