Abstract
Resources plays a vital role in achieving desired economic growth. Even though renewable resources can be replenished in a short period of time, it cannot be taken for granted. Resource conservation promises to fill the gap between supply and demand. In the current scenario, there is no way to keep track the resources being consumed on a day to day basis. This project aims at overcoming this limitation by tracking the commonly used resources in our lives. Tracking of resources like water, electricity and LPG by individual houses using an embedded microcontroller, with IP connectivity for trailing resources and alerting the user about their daily usage using Smart phone application. Sensed data is stored in the cloud. By this people will be aware of their resource footprint and its cost.
