Abstract
Lateral medullary infarctions comprise approximately two percent of ischemic stroke. It is commonly caused by occlusion of the cranial segment of the vertebral artery or the posterior inferior cerebellar artery. The patient usually presents with a constellation of neurological symptoms which are well known. Patients can also present with variants, knowledge of which can help in correct clinical localisation. We present two cases with unusual presentations of Lateral medullary syndrome.
