Abstract
Mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is infrastructure less and dynamically changing network. All the nodes of this network have independent rights to move anywhere, any direction and any time. MANET is self-configuring network hence nodes are working as sender, receiver and router. There is no centralized server so these types of networks helps to military communication, marine and submarine communication and natural disaster timing communication. In MANET implementation have some difficulties in routing, maintaining the energy and improving the quality of services. This paper mainly focuses on routing problems and proposing new routing methods named “Shortest path and Energy efficient Network through High performance Intelligent node with Less delay (SENTHIL) protocol” for improving the quality of routing. Route discovery, Route maintenance and route selections are important activities of routing in MANET. Usually, flooding method have used for identifying new route using route request, route reply and route error messages. Identifying best shortest route with less delay is aspiring of this paper. The proposed algorithm will support the multipath routing method for improving packet delivery ratio and reducing the overall delay. I have used Network simulator for simulating the network with new proposed algorithm and analyzing the results of proposed and existing algorithm.
